“The only source of knowledge is experience.” -Albert Einstein
Internship searching was one of the scariest things I did last semester. After a while, every internship post looked the same. Everyone wanted a “driven college student with a hunger for success”. Long story short, not one post made me feel like I could truly be a part of a team. I was starting to give up on having a summer internship, until I came across good ol’ Hustlemore. As soon as I explored the Hustlemore website and did some light online stalking on Stuart and Ron (hi guys!), I knew I had to apply for the internship. Not only did I love the Hustlemore vibe, but I saw myself learning something there—and I did.
This past summer has been one of the most fulfilling summers I have ever had. Being from a small town in Northwest Indiana, I rarely visited the city. This experience not only gave me the opportunity to spend time in Chicago, but it also introduced me to some of the nicest, most driven people I have ever met. I will always cherish the friendships I have made and the things I was able to learn at this internship.
Stuart and Ron, thank you for this wonderful opportunity. Over the past few months, you made me feel like I was a part of your team and for that, I am grateful. Thank you for trusting me and giving me the creative freedom to create social media strategies for not only clients, but for Hustlemore. Thank you for not making fun of me when I took an excessive amount of notes in my “Everyday is an adventure” notebook. To the clients I have met/had the honor of working with, thank you for trusting me and welcoming me into your world.
Even though my internship is over, I will always hustle. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
